Digital Gym is a multimedia lab and community space for anyone interested in new media and technologies. Noah may be interested in one their one-on-one trainings or group classes.

In their one-on-one classes instructors tailor each lesson to fit your needs. They can accommodate all learning levels and guide Noah through every stage of the creative and technical process. Their customized lessons can focus on computer basics, videography, photography, website design, and more. One-on-one lessons cost $45/hour.

Teen Producers Project:  This program is 12 weeks long and teaches teens the basic principles of documentary filmmaking while producing 2-3 minute digital stories. Students learn basic lighting techniques, storyboarding, camera skills, and how to edit their projects in Final Cut Pro of Adobe Premiere. They end with a show case screening. This 12-week program costs $360.

The Mission Valley YMCA has one of the largest facilities in San Diego. They have several rooms of exercise equipment, a group fitness room, two swimming pools, gymnasium, and indoor soccer field. Membership to this YMCA would also get you access to the Downtown branch, as well as the Hazard Center Mind, Body, Spirit center.

 

Something you may really like is their Cymer Digital Studio which offers a learning environment outfitted with high-tech tools for mixing and editing music, developing video projects, creating art and more. They are open from 3-7 pm, Monday through Friday. You can work on video and audio production, graphic design, video game development, robotics and more. There are workers that can help you with projects and they offer classes from time to time: Photoshop Workshop, Robotics at Cymer, Professional Music Producing Workshop, Video Editing Workshop and Illustrator Workshop. Although their focus when they started was for high school students, they are open to adults too.  You do not need to be a YMCA member to use this studio, but you do need to fill out an application and waiver.  Check out the 2nd website above for more information.
