Self-Directed Services

Self-directed Services are designed to ensure that individuals have the power to make their own decisions and truly control their own lives. This empowerment includes gaining authority over financial resources and determining what supports are needed, deciding how supports will be implemented, and by whom. Individuals should control the hiring of those who support them. To promote these principles of self-determination, Community Interface offers two fiscal management services: Fiscal Employer Agent and Bill Payer Service. For both services, a monthly Individualized Budget Update which details approved allocations, expenditures, and funds in reserve is provided to the consumer/family and the Regional Center.
