CIT is a community based day program that includes vocational training and a variety of community activities. The program provides its participants the opportunity to integrate in one’s community while practicing appropriate social skills, community safety, self-advocacy and self-reliance. The program also offers flexibility to those with significant personal care, stamina, or behavioral needs. To accommodate transportation, individual need, and site availability, CIT offers a five-hour day (CIT V), and a six-hour day (CITVI). All services are funded by the San Diego Regional Center.
