The Angel Fund was originally established in recognition of the generous donation made by a former long-term employee of CIS and is used in 2 ways:
 

1. Angel Gala - a spectacular holiday party for the individuals we serve, their families, and our dedicated staff members. This is a special night for everyone in the CIS family and an unforgettable experience full of heartwarming and priceless memories.
 

2. Unmet Participant Needs - from time to time, the individuals we serve run into financial hardship in pursuing their dreams and goals. In line with the CIS mission, the Fund provides small grants or loans to help participants with unmet needs (where other funding is not available or is inadequate). Examples include modifications to make homes more accessible, medical supplies or equipment, moving expenses/deposits, and supplies for community college classes.
